Dr. Andrew Cheah, a MOH accredited Board Certified Specialist Plastic Surgeon with international experience, brings over a decade of dedicated practice to the field. His expertise lies in various areas of Plastic Surgery, encompassing both aesthetic and reconstructive procedures alongside non-invasive treatments and laser therapies.

​His special interests span a range of aesthetic procedures, from facial aesthetic surgery to body contouring, showcasing his skill set in blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), breast augmentation, liposuction, fat grafting, and abdominoplasties (tummy-tucks).

Dr. Andrew began his medical journey after graduating from the University of Leicester, United Kingdom in 2010 and he pursued further specialization in Plastic, Aesthetic & Reconstructive Surgery upon returning to Singapore in 2014.

Throughout his career, he has earned qualifications and registrations from reputable medical bodies, including the Royal College of Surgeons and the National University of Singapore among others.

Dr Lai received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2000, during which he received numerous awards (Dean’s List, Singapore Dental Association Bronze Medal, Gold Medal for best in clinical dentistry). Thereafter, he completed the Masters of Dental Surgery in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and obtained Fellowships of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons as well as Academy of Medicine Singapore. In 2008, Dr Lai was awarded the prestigious Health Manpower Development Plan Award from the Ministry of Health Singapore where he went to the USA for Advanced Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training.

He was made Adjunct Professor at the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (University of Alabama Birmingham USA) in 2008- 2009. Dr Lai was the Head of Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Changi General Hospital from 2013 to 2020. He was also the Director, Dental Service CGH clinical service of SingHealth Duke-NUS ORH-ACP from 2013 to 2020 and was instrumental in the development of the Oral Maxillofacial Surgery clinic @ Changi General Hospital.

He was the core member of the multispecialty integrated facial reconstruction service and obstructive sleep service workgroup in Changi General Hospital. Dr Lai sat in the National Dental Specialist Accreditation Board for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in 2014-2016.

He was also the lead in the development of the Orthognathic Surgery patient guide for Singhealth. Prior his transition to private practice, Dr Lai was a Senior Consultant and Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, National Dental Centre Singapore, where he was heavily involved in postgraduate OMS training. As a firm believer of positive patient experience, he strives to empathize with patients and is committed to provide quality clinical care.

Dr Janee Lim graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1999. Following two year in general dental practice at the National Dental Centre, she was awarded a scholarship and went on to complete a three- year residency in Orthodontics. In the second year of her training, she was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.

In 2004, she successfully obtained her Masters of Dental Surgery and was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. Upon completion of her Advanced Specialist Training in 2007, she was admitted as a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore Roll of Specialists (Orthodontics). She is presently registered with the Singapore Dental Council as a Dental specialist in Orthodontics.

Dr Lim has served in the Executive Committee of the Association of Orthodontists (Singapore). She is also a member of the World Federation of Orthodontists and Singapore Dental Association.

She has presented her research at numerous local and international conferences including 2003 International Association of Dental Research Division meeting in Vietnam, 2004 European Orthodontic Society Congress in Prague and 2005 American Association of Orthodontics Conference in Nevada.
